Not the Norm Epub ✓ Not the eBook ✓ norm ebok, Not the mobile, Not the Norm eBookNot The Norm by Becca J Campbell is a sci fi short story set in the future where people are genetically altered to have super powers This intriguing story is so colorfully written it will grab you the moment you start the first page and captivate you to the last I found the characters relatable and I became attached to them from the very beginning it can sometimes take a while to get the reader attached to characters so that was very well done I loved reading about this futuristic world and how differently they view life This stands great as a short story but I would love to know about their world and what happens to Eden and Dake after the story ends I'm secret

Not the Norm Epub ✓ Not the eBook ✓ norm ebok, Not the mobile, Not the Norm eBookGREAT DYSTOPIAN WORLDIn a current world government that has its hands in everyone's business I love to read stories where the government has gone even further It's realistic to me and portrays a world I can imagine easily 1984 by George Orwell Farenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury these have always been fodder for my imagination So it was with great pleasure that I was given the opportunity to read a short story by Becca J Campbell called Not The Norm the planet has become a dystopian planet one where everyone thinks that genetic enhancement makes one normal Eden is a woman who has been genetically enhanced but the enhancement has a glitch in the genetic code This cold cause great danger for her if it is ever revealed Unfortunately she is forced to fight back with the very power that has revealed itself to be flawed She is danger and on the runI loved this story Campbell has succeeded again in populating her w

Not the Norm Epub ✓ Not the eBook ✓ norm ebok, Not the mobile, Not the Norm eBookSleek and fast moving Not the Norm serves as an excellent teaser into a world that posits what if normal was superhuman Dake and Eden are characters you can root for and Campbell's world building is woven into the narration and dialogue without feeling forced Being a big comic book fan specifically superheroes I really enjoyed how the powers of the antagonists were eclectic and fun while still being threatening The appendage flinging character reminded me of something out of Morrison's Doom PatrolOne negative is that the story is too short a visit into this world I really hope she will return to this concept in a longer form It's brief nature keeps it a four starsIt definitely gets me

Not the Norm Epub ✓ Not the eBook ✓ norm ebok, Not the mobile, Not the Norm eBookBecca J Campbell has a knack for human connection and a driving interest in the individual flaws that do so much to define characters As an author she loves exploring these utterly mundane aspects of the human condition in fantastically imaginative environments She's done it in Foreign Identity and her urban fantasy series Flawed and she explores some of the same themes again in Not the NormI'm sure you'll enjoy it

Not the Norm Epub ✓ Not the eBook ✓ norm ebok, Not the mobile, Not the Norm eBookThis is a short but solid story I left it a few days before reviewing because at first I thought it was too short to even ualify for a review I also wasn't sure whether to give it 4 or 5 stars I almost gave it 4 based simply on the fact that the story reads a little like the first and last chapter of a novel but then after a few days I was still thinking about the possibilities of such a world where everyone has a talent and those who don't are put downSo overall it left me thinking which is what all good stories should do In this case the phrase less is definitely ap
