æ Wayward #1 PDF Ø wayward epub, Wayward #1 KindleOooh I like the art in this too can't gauge much storyline wise from one issue but the art makes me wanna give the first collected edition a go Seems a bit zany though almost had a mangaanime ish feel to it with the kappas and catgirls coming to life Luckily I have only just read the tier 3 titles off the Humble Image Comics Bundle 2 else I probably would've caved and got

æ Wayward #1 PDF Ø wayward epub, Wayward #1 KindleWayward is a fabulous new series set in a very accurately rendered contemporary Tokyo albeit one in which fantastic yokai like kitsune and kappa are running amok Hafu Rori Lane arrives from Ireland recently estranged from her dad and relocating to live with her overworked seamstress mother in Ikebukuro Left to explore the city on her own before the start of the school year Rori encounters some unsavory creatures and a catlike young lady who loves strawberry milk The small details like “Meibu” department store and milk vending machines as well as the spot on depiction of train commuting bring Tokyo to life while making the surreal bits seem distinctly magical rather than something just lost in translation The end of the single issue has a couple of great essays by Zack Davidson introducing yokai culture and profiling kappa I wish I had created this This team totally speaks my language
